I cycled my tank old school way in the beginning , flake food and pellets , then after about a month I added some of this , that’s all nothing else after that point and I only added not even 1/4 a bottle for a 150 g system (it was already cycled there for I only added a bit) and that was a few months back

I started my Red Sea with bleached rock and seeded for 3 months before I put it on the tank. After a few months my rock started to turn greenish and then purple ish. It wouldn’t blow off with a turkey baster either. I let it be and now 2 years later it’s covered in coraline algae. Snails were the only thing to clean it off.
