What kind of Monti?

I picked this coral up with a few other things from a guy in TO who was shutting down his tank.  At the time it was mostly white skeleton with a slight greenish area near the base, but he was going on about how it was no ordinary green Monti...yadda yadda yadda...  Yeah whatever but an almost dead regular monti and an almost dead "special monti" are worth the same to me...

Now that it has come back fully and is growing like a Monti should, I guess it actually isn't a regular green Monti. Capricornis  I'm sure some of you have a similar version and can tell me what type it is? Or do Montis morph in different  growing conditions?

Dammit! I was hoping it was a Radioactive Rotting Zombie Cap like all the cool kids have.. :'(


Seriously, the regular Monti I had ummmm before the carbon dosing experiment...RIP...had a surface covered in fine ridges and polyps that were so tiny they were almost invisible.
