I know at least one of you is an IT guy... was it adam? Anyway, I might be getting offered a totally sweet IT job and they think I know about this stuff because I used to do it in like 1995. So I have to fake it until I can figure it out. Do I have a support group here?

I actually have no idea what the scope is. Last proper network I set up had terminators and sweet BNC connectors so I'm behind the curve, but I know MS software and kept up on computer hardware, right down to my sweet cherry brown keys.

It's a "this guy has got to go and we need someone who will keep the network running, fix computers and do repairs/renovations. I'm the office bitch. The top manager wants me, and convinced the CEO to approve of it, and all the while they know I still want to do real estate deals and they're good with that too. The current guy makes $128K a year (!) but that is a special circumstance. I smartly demanded $11.95 an hour.
