Wrasse Id

Thought its a yellow coris wrasse but maby not according to this. ( https://m.liveaquaria.com/product/2113/?pcatid=2113 ) I like it, its constantly picking at the rocks and i have red flatworms so thats one of the reasons i got it. Doesnt bother anything just wondering what it actualy is.

Thanks i linked that to OP . Thats what made me realize i dont have a yellow coris wrasse but thought maby it just a different name they use or maby depending on region colours change. I bought it labeled as yellow coris wrasse but its definetly not. What i have is white purple wrasse

Comparing to real yellow coris wrasse i actually like this one better, thanksfor reply though . I just posted to soon.

Definitely yellow purple tail wrasse I have one myself ! Beautiful fish and never caused me problems just make sure you got a lid !

Thanks for heads up. Actually while i had it acclimating i ran to homedepot bought screen frame and mesh and put it together. Didnt want to take a chance since just while acclimating it tried to jump toooo many times.

Yeah any wrasse will do that just a few weeks back mine jumped out and I couldn’t find him for a atleast 10 min . Scary stuff lol many times I can hear him jump and hit the glass lid , kinda funny .

On a side note looks like he’s also a adult mines almost there pretty cool seeing him all yellow then starting to get the white underside !
