So today I was out by cambridge and decided to swing by to Rick and steve at living aquarim and got a few things and came across madrians and well long story short I just added him to the tank , and going to add half a bottle or maybe the whole thing of pods tonight when lighrs go out , I do have questions
1)add the whole bottle of pods ?
2) he hiding in the rock ( im sure that's normal) but not 100%
3) how often do I buy more pods to re add again ?
4) any other tips please ?

Living aquarium say they wean them onto frozen. Members on here taught me that they need a constant supply of pods and frozen to be happy! I would plumb a fuge if you can.

I would immediately contact Canada's live foods expert: David Caplan on our forum and order live pods from him
Check his website www.canadacopepods.ca for advice about how to cultivate pods to keep your mandarin well fed
Frozen foods can be introduced to mandarins over time but it is not a swift process and some mandarins will refuse and not switch over

I think Living Aquarium sell tiger pods for like $29 a bottle

But a seed kit from Dave is only $145 and they are the smaller better ones (sorry Starts at, Depending on the size of your tank) http://copepods.ca/product/seed-packs/

Follow instructions, crack bottle so they get air. Also, did you buy phytoplankton so you can feed them? You are likely going to need many many many more pods. They won't repopulate fast enough.

I did $30 for this bottle and it only says large red copeopods 250-1700 not sure if these are the best or is there better once idk ?

if there was a seahorse breeder in the Cambridge area, maybe they could help you out with live food until you get your stuff sorted out.
