I would upgrade your skimmer. The Prizm claims to work for that size tank, however, running the Prizm myself previously, (as you know cuz you bought mine) now that I have upgraded my skimmer, things are doing a hell of a lot better. The Prizm worked well on my 20gal without sump. THink you might be running too much on them now.

A lot of people start with the prizm or the cpr backpak, but eventually everyone upgrades to something that can pull out more gunk.  Time to sell those to someone else starting out and get something better rated.

First thing in the new year I will be upgrading my HOB Octopus skimmer with an in sump. I really like my Octopus, but I want to start prepping for a larger tank project to start to build the end of next year.

Mine is a:

Tank Size: 400 L (105US Gal)
Pump Power: OTP 1000, 1000 lph
As soon as I have in insump one, I will be getting rid of this one.

I'm looking at clone skimmers. I was told there's a SWC
clone ( or the other way around) that's alot cheaper. Same
product no stickers or logos on unit and cup lid..... I forget
Who has em though........

I have 2 SWC 160 extreme cone skimmers...i need them, but if I can sell them both I would...

does that mean you don't like them?  I was under the assumption they worked reasonably well, possibly considering one to replace my bubblemagus 3.5 if it ever dies on me

So you need to sell both of them. Blaked showed interest maybe and so do I and conveineintly he lives close to me. What are you looking for on the skimmers?

Maybe if I pick up, then Neo could meet me in London to pick up my Octopus :)

Not at all. I love these skimmers.  I just would rather get a larger skimmer for my system rather then run 2 is all.
