Well I have been reading up on large reef safe angels and the Emperor is my favourite. I guess it depends on the fish they say other types are better. Also they say if they are well feed and the corals are healthy they won't touch them. Supposedly if they do it corals they only eat dead or dying corals and LPS are more attractive then SPS to them.
If I end up getting a bigger tank I would try one. But I would want a small one and watch it grow.

IME Emperors and Regals will likely be ok with SPS but will definitely eat Acans and other LPS eventually and will snack on some Z&P.

Emperors are definite Nono in lps tanks.

When I was at BIGSHOW's pulling pieces we wanted from the LPS tank and putting them another tank where some fish were, it was less than a minute before angels were all over the LPS. We literally had to cover them.
