30 To 75 Upgrade

Thought I would document my upgrade from a 30 to 75. Should be happening this week. So far I have only just finished the stand but the tank is being drilled and should be coming in tonight. R/o water is building up in my basement just waiting to go in.

Got excited and didn't take any pics until halfway though the build.

Veneer on and trimmmed

Sump in and top on. I like to add solid tops for structural strength.

Doors on and just waiting for the main event to go on top

Very nice! When I see pics like this I get envious of other people's woodworking skills - you obviously know what you are doing in the wood shop

Thanks! A good 75% of it is just having the right tools. Just like reefing. I'm fortunate because my dad and I have spent a long time (and a lot of money) building up the tools to be be able to do things like this

Got around to drilling the tank. Thought I'd throw a quick shoot of that happening up.

Plumbing is going on. Tank is ready for things to start getting transfered

Well. It's after midnight and I have work in 6 hours. But the tank is up and running. Big reveal to come once I get the hard scape right and my corals glued.
