So my wife surprsied me with an amazing anniversary gift!! She went behind my back, got some help from a friend, and I ended up with an amazing Hollywood Stunner chalice! This thing is over 13" x 13" and is a true centerpiece!!! She took me to Reefraft yesterday, where the chalice was, and I also ended up with a pile of other goodies. My wife is awesome!!!! Except now I really need to find her the perfect gift.  ::) A huge thank you to Darryl for helping my wife out with finding the perfect centrepiece!!! Here are some pics of the corals I grabbed. The Trachy is one I have never seen before. It is a purple base with fluorecent green highlights. I also picked up one of his amazing Avenger frags and some crazy gold bar acro. Jay was extremely nice but that might be because I was walking around with a handful of cash...  ;D He gave me several free frags including a Red Wine Milli. I also found a beautiful encrusting monti frag that is yellow with bright pink polyps. If you have never been to Reefraft, I suggest you go! But be prepared to spend big $$$$ because you cannot leave empty handed.

congrats!

keep me on your frag-friend list ;)

btw, is that a harlequin tusk I see?

No problem. That is a Harlequin! Thanks to Dale, I was able to grab that one at Sealife. I wanted to get him in there before I move in some more agressive fish. It is an awesome fish and is out and about all day long. Nice and fat too!

Looks amazing.  The new tank is going to be stellar~!

Thanks Darryl! I am hoping everything works out with this tank. So far it is really coming together. I will be adding some fish next week that Bill brought in for me. The rest of the corals are moving their way over as well. Thanks again for all your help!

Awesome looking Derek. Is the trachy photo # 2? And what would be its full name as I really like the look of it.

Yes, photo 2 is the Trachy. Not too sure the name of it but it is a quite rare piece. I have not seen a Purple base like that before. I was there again yesterday to pick up a few more items.  ::) They had one more there that had some really nice colors in it. Purple base again, but a lot more green on top. Just be prepared to part with a lot of cash because it was not cheap!  :?
