Nothing to do with that.    What is all this yu need. A lb or 2 of live rock for each gallon  to set up a new tank    So how did he get this going with no live rock ?and no sand.  But  that set up with the LEDs and all that sps and shit is cool  looking

same way people do it with eco-reefer rock. Surface area is surface area, it doesnt have to be in the form of rock or substrate.

Has anyone got a whole lot of live rock. And put it thru a gravel crusher. And bag it and sell it ?  I have access to a gravel crusher  ..I kno when I was in Guam for month each year. They don't have gravel pits for building  and they use coral. As it is what a island is  made of

You need to stop hanging out with collector there Petercar. That sentence confused me.

n a side note, I am pretty sure that the cost will not even come close to compensating the revenue on a project like this locally.
