today, I picked up a couple more algae eating fish.

First was a foxface. A one spot. He will be chillin with the 2 scribbled rabbits (the coopers) and my magnificent foxface.

My other one was a second yellow tang. I've seen several reefs with multiple yellow tangs in them. I want to keep my a,gave to a minimum!

Right now, the fox face is hanging with the Coopers, and the mag. The yellow tangs are play fighting.

Let's see how this works out

How can you grow enough algae for all of them? I just have a couple of tangs and I have to add lots of Nori since so little green stuff grows in the reef.

When I had fish only systems with uncontrolled nutrients I could grow algae and beautiful macros to feed to herbivores but now all I get is some turf along the overflow waterline where the coralline doesn't grow.

I loved my mag fox face. Use to have one until the dumbass got stuck to a powerhead and died  stupid bastard. Lol was able to get him off the few times I saw him but this time it was to long and late.

So I guess I'm saying they are awesome but dumb. Lol

And yellows are so awesome. But dicks. When my hands are in the tank sometimes he likes to take swipes at it. I can't imagine what he would be like with another yellow

If the first yellow was already established for a long time you would probably have issues. But if they were put in close together it will reduce the chance of fighting. My Yellow tang I have had for years and if I tried that it would kill the other right on the spot. I know this because I tried twice. I will not try that again.

Oh and keep them well fed for now. A full fish is less likely to fight.
