Check this out. Anyone else seen this thing? I really feel like we're on the cusp of a big boom in controller advancement (and it's about time, too!)

I feel like I saw that thing on Kickstarter some time ago. Not exactly cheap to monitor salinity, PH and temp. $600 USD I believe.

That price includes a 8 outlet PowerBar and more. These price, it advertises to do it all. Most of the same features as an Apex. Looks like there is going to be a boom

I think it's supposed to have a water level sensor to for ATO purposes. And it uses an induction coil to transfer power (like in a qi charger for your phone) through the glass. I have no idea if this product will have mass market success, nor what it's import path to Canada will be, but it's nice to see more modern tech and better design standards put out for controllers. Hoping the cerebra is even better =)

I also saw this a while back on Kickstarter. Seems to be a great concept but there doesn't seem to be much info on the final product yet. If you click the link in the first post and scroll to the bottom to read the comments you can see some of the potential concerns.

Competition is good! Hopefully controllers become more affordable.. Or I get a good deal on all of your Apex classics! ;)
