just received a thing from Saltwater Smarts and they are offering another book written by Paul Baldassano..it looks pretty good for info.. I did get their last book and it is my go to now...

He is on R2R forum and I have seen some of his stuff. He has been in the hobby for 40 years or so. He likes his old school techniques. For the newer people to the hobby they will learn a lot of the basics that is missing from most of the new reefers today. People get to caught up in the technology side of things and ignore the proper groundwork of how the biology and dynamics of a reef tank work. I am sure with his experience level in this hobby everyone could learn something from him new and veteran.

Cool. Keep us posted on the book when it arrives. I'm finding many of them far too heavy of a read. I would love a little more vague broad stroke as I'm starting. With anything, if you get TOO overwhelmed, it makes things car more stressful and less enjoyable.
