Hey,

I have been looking for a complete system and a nice little cube was my focus. Kind of wanted high end starphire rimless and willing to pay a fair price. But most want to part everything out. Large tanks are kind of out of my ability because I can't move one myself.

If I could get a few brave souls and an all day expedition I would call this guy and make the trip.

Someone will get a great system and deal.

Love the peninsula....but...if you're going to do it why go non drilled? That system is overflow boxes with aqualifters...it's not a reef (puffer in it) so it's more than likely that the lighting and skimmer would need upgrading if you intend to do a reef...(possibly not but you would want to be sure ahead) . Not trying to be negative but too many of us have probably bought systems that seemed great but when it came right down to it we got many ok pieces but few really good ones and end up gradually upgrading everything. Better to look for something that has even a few awesome key parts (skimmer and lighting being the top of the list) then a bunch of OK pieces.

This said as a veteran low budget scavenger (although not THE Reef Scavenger...Pulp owns that crown)....

my parents live in peterbrough so i dont mind meeting you there and helping you load it ...

but I would have to agree with Adinfinitum ... you can get a good setup for that kinda money probably closer and ect .... by dry rock so u dont have issues that person has ... buy reef friendly fish ... ect .... no point in dropping $2200 and go shoot I wish it was drilled I wish i got this skimmer ect .... best to make it your own ...

thanks everyone. I'll keep looking if anyone see something that is a great deal let me know please. I am still really new and have plenty to learn. But I do know that if you have to buy a bunch of individual pieces then the good deal can become not so good really fast. Especially Skimmers, pumps, sumps and lights. lol everything then...

I already have a quote from miracle for a starphire rimless with custom sump. So I understand the ball park.

Going to look at it tomorrow hopefully. If its decent then i'll pick it up dimensions are a bit different. I have to see it in person. will keep everyone updated I'm not looking for a cube just to have something that I can keep water and saltwater in it. I want something that I wont have a problem putting hundreds and hundreds of $$ into it.

If it doesn't happen then I'll just head to Coral reef shop or Dundas strip to look around at Canada Corals they have some sweet rectangle tanks and aqua inspirations and they have reef ready tanks on sale.
