I have only ever used rowaphos in my phosban150 reactor. What is everyone else using? GFO or Carbon or both? And brand too please. Thanks, looking forward to everyone's response.

I used both from BRS but eventually I just stuck with GFO.  Change it out once a month, the carbon if use all the time is over kill as all it does is polish water. If you notice your water looking alittle yellowish then use carbon for a couple weeks.

Thanks for your replies! I was hoping to see a lot of people using BRS GFO because it is much cheaper than rowaphos. I have been thinking of switching from rowaphos to BRS GFO......any thoughts?
I have never ran carbon in my system but might try for a week to see if I notice any difference......I read somewhere that using carbon though will introduce small traces of phosphate into the water.....any truth to this or should I be concerned?

I run both BRS rox carbon and regular GFO, have for almost a year now.  My phosphates are .03.

Some people will say that that everything leeches phosphate into the water at some point, and maybe it does if you leave it long enough, just set a timer on your pc or smartphone to remind you to swap it out once a month (and don't forget and just skip a month or two).  Stability is the key.

I have been seeing good results by using rowaphos in my phosban150 reactor.....I can get my po4 below 0 using the Hanna ulr phosphorous checker.......every once in a while it creeps up to be detectable......today I just checked and it read 1ppb phosphorous.....so I believe that is like 0.003 ppm phosphate......this is why I have stuck with rowa for so long....BRS does not carry rowa though :(
I have been thinking about trying rowa carbon too......says it has the lowest po4 leaking.....thanks again everyone!!
