Male bangai mouth is full of eggs/babies.

Ive seen a baby a few months before the size of a dime but it didnt make it long.

Just thought i post this up i think its pretty cool. Ill post pics if i see any little ones this time.

I read about raising the babies and need a seperate tank while hatching baby brine shrimp to feed. Kinda more work then id like.

My pair have dropped about 6 batches. Only the first 2 babies survived, I assume the 2 that survived kill off any new fry, they just disappear, they don't even end up in the filter socks anymore.

Id like to be able to raise the young ones considering they are endangered. Just kinda seems like a bit of work for now. Maby in future when tank is nice and stable ill be able to focus on them.

Nice those 2 survive to become adults or just as babies? Notice any clues to when they release ?
the two that survived almost are full sized. The parents don't attack them, but both groups take opposite ends of the tank. I figure they're endangered because they are absolute dicks to each other...

Male hold fry until it looks like he will pop, then they release at night. Next day he's damn hungry.

Lol yeah they def are.
I had 3 in my 90, 2 paired up and picked on the other one. It wasnt alowed to come out, lost half its body size and almost died, so that was good enough reason to get a second tank. Now that one is with a wrasse and firefish, happy and healthy.
