Beautiful Fish

today I was in London and of course had to stop at Big Al's....there I saw the prettiest and the biggest lion fish that I have ever seen... he is looking for a new home... anyone in the area should check it out... maybe Aaron will post a picture of him...;)

not sure what type he is.. he's an easy 12" fat, brownish red and white... he there being rehomed...I suspect that he out grew his tank...

again not sure what species but, he could swallow a 3 to 4" fish with no problem...I have seen lion fish before but, Christ this guy is gorgeous...

Here it is. It's big and it will eat krill but prefers live feed. The previous owner used shrimp rings to feed it.

They are kind of like the saltwater equivalent of an Oscar no? Big Messy eater huge bio load. But they really don't need too much swimming around room right?

Sort of but being that he is a heavy eater means he's a heavy pooper. More water volume can handle the bioload. The Internet recommends a 120 but as I said the bigger the better.
