Hey Everyone

Finally getting things sorted, just wondering if there are any preferred vendors for dry goods, im looking at getting an eheim 1289 pump (unless someone else can recommend a quiet pump for ~100 gal), and heater(s)

Beanbagfrags and reefsupplies for most my goods.

Beanbagfrags has good pricing and I can pick up, so saves shipping when I rarely have a large enough order for companies to do free shipping.

I try (TRY) to buy hardware local and keep receipts together.
Pump fails I walk into the store and walk out with a new one 5min later. Install and settle up with the owner at a more convenient time.
It's happened.
BUT when unable to do this, I have used J&L or Reefsupplies. Happy with both.

yes, I have had an issue with online stores not being as easy to deal with on returns as I would like and even cancelling some items that have not even been shipped or processed.

As you are from London, I would recommend Big Al's or Sealife Central. These are your local fish stores (LFS). By purchasing from them they can continue to run a business in your city. Just ask @EricTMah. If people keep buying online to save a couple of bucks, the stores close and people lose their jobs. Purchasing from the TFT members who are found under the "Store announcements" on this forum also keeps them giving advice and helping us all out. Not to mention the face to face of Frag fest.

All of my purchases are from TFT store members, LFS, and used equipment from other members on this site. My computer gives shitty customer service. I'd rather be able to ask advice from those who have "been there, done that".
