black perk clowns

just got back from lfs they told me they had true black small perk clown s for 45$ ea soooo i went there to get a pair
but they where vary small and they were orange with a black tinge and a Orange face then the new guy that works there  tells me that when the black clowns are young the are orange then change all black i really don't think this is true is it???????

this is true , they will eventually turn all black  have you ever seen a clown that looked like that but adult ? Probably not because they turn all bacl , I have a little guy now who is almost all black but still has some orange .

i have seen them stay like that with just the black tinge and Ive seen the black clowns with orange heads and black body that's what they look like I'm just a bit sceptical hear north American fish breeders had them the same size and they were all black no orange at all

where they really orange all over the body ? as juveniles also ore just the nose? these were identical to the normal clowns they had with light black over the orange ?

I'm sure they will blacken up, I have a pair of reg percs and as i had them the black started to show up alot more.

Thanks to all of you got the clowns for 40$ ea not bad and a day after being in the tank they are already almost all black maybe it's there way of showing aggression idk they are the most aggressive clowns I've ever had pound for pound they are not even 3/4 of an in and beat the hell out of all the 2 in clowns lol good I was worried them being so small they'd get killed but no again thank you all
