Black Serpant Star Fish

I bought a Black Serpent Star last week, Put it in the tank and haven't seen it since, Tested for Nitrate and 0 reading, No signs at all, I understand they don't inhabit the sand so where did it go?

It was a beautiful creature, big and spiney

It's under a rock and you will see nothing but arms reaching out :)

My brothers did not move in 2 years

I hope you're right, but I haven't seen any arms. I've had the brown stripped ones before and you would see the arms when feeding but not this one and it's huge.

Do a feeding and watch closely, you should see some tentacles sticking out somewhere( you will not see a full one just the first inch or so, so it can be tough to see) if not try with lights off a flashlight he should come out then.

feed any raw shrimp? mine loves raw shrimp, and yes, it too hides under the rocks, I can't count how many little ones I have in the tank ! it's an explosion of the little guys !

Aquarium by design in Waterloo. I had never seen them before, I had the Brown Striped one by these guys are so cool, They look so rubbery
