Blue Foam

Anyone know if this foam would be ok to use in my sump? Trying to lessen vibration/noise from return and skimmer pumps by using it underneath.

I wouldn't use it inside the tank outside out of contact would be fine. But I think you are looking for anti vibration noise from the pump itself.

Try going to a dollar store and see if you can find, if not one of those fancy home stores, but there should be a silicone matting used for dishes, drying racks, maybe even bathtub anti slip. Almost and anti fatigue matting. Maybe even cutting board type uses for fruits and vegetables. Get some of it and put under pumps it should help

Yeah, the pumps are vibrating against my sump (lift them up, sound goes down by half). Was wondering if foam would be ok since i have a bunch left over.

use a dens sponge or i use peices of neoprene either mouse pads or craft store is cheapest for neoprene just dont get the ones with a fancy glued on picture or design on material
