Bubble Magus Curve 7

Well thanks to Jerry (Unibob) my new skimmer has arrived before the madness of christmas/boxing day/birthday/new years! Just a lil guy compared to my vertex. I have extra room in my sump! Cannot believe how quiet it is. One less complaint in my wife's arsenal, though she has many more! Will see if salty's hatred of bubble magus is unfounded

Out of curiousity, what water level and setting have you found to work best?

even my reef oct recommends 8-10" but 6-7" seems to be the sweet spot is just a recommendation after all

Just figured the designers of skimmer would know what level is most effective Maybe I will try lower level and see what happens.

Even though it's been running for less than a week, the curve 7 is producing decent skimate. Should be awesome once dialed in. So that means I have a vertex in250 to sell. $150 takes it. Keep in mind the only reason I switched is the vertex is just a little too loud and large (footprint 15.25" x 10.75", height 31.5") for my set up. Great skimmer in its own right
