im finally winning the war with the hair algae in my new tank (never bothered to cure the rock lol).

I'm running brs deluxe reactors fed from my return pump.

I just measure po4 yesterday with expired checker powder, and it's .1. I can only imagine what it it really is.

I do have 25 new tests coming.

How often do you change gfo. I added 2 cups this last time, but I can't get the kind of flow through it I'd like. I'll be doing 1 cup.

I've also looked into dosing LC into 5 micron socks, but am concerned about any effects on my yellow eye Kole and ring tailed surgeon fish.

Any and all opinions welcome

I test it right out of the reactor.
Once it starts to climb and not reading close to zero it's done.
Running it a cup at a time until it's expired.
