i ran the 550 reactor on my 100 gal set-up and i didnt even fill the reactor close to half full and that was almost 400 ml of pellets . Im sure you wont be using anymore then that . Also do you have pellets running now ? Or are you planning on setting them up ?

i use vertex pellets, start with half of what you need, then add more as it matures

http://www.jlaquatics.com/manuals/vertex/probio_instructions.pdf

Vertex Pro-Bio Pellets Instructions.
Use 50 - 200 ml of media per 100 liters (25 gallons) of net system water volume. Best used in a fluidizing
media filter but can be implemented passively in an area with good flow. Lack of proper water movement
or overdosing can result in production of Hydrogen Sulfide which has a foul rotten egg smell. Always start
with smaller dosage and gradually increase to required dose. Rapid changes in water parameters can
harm your animals. Not recommended to use in conjunction with Phosphate removers. Ozone injection
and or UV filters can be used however not recommended. Suitable to use in fresh water, saltwater
systems and Ponds. Provide proper system oxygenation or protein skimmer if used in Saltwater
applications. Vertex Aquaristik cannot be held accountable for any loss of livestock and or any other
damages due to misuse of this product may cause.

phosban reactors are about 15" high and 5 " diameter , also pump on your intsrustions its says not to use in conjunction with phosphate removers , which i dont agree with theres lots of people who run phophate reacrtors with pellets and have no issues .

It is the perfect sized reactor for pellets. Blob runs a 550 on his system and prefers ther 550 because of the tumble it provides.  If I ever go with pellets, I'm going with the 550.

The dual BRS reactor is fine if you intend to use it for carbon and gfo with your 90.

the bacteria growing on the bio pellets  requires the phosphates for fuel  and that is why they recommend not using a GFO product ,I read people have no issues but I have never used any kind of phosphate remover with my pellet set up
