Circulation Question

I need a budget friendly option for circulation pumps. This is the largest tank I have owned as well as the tallest. 110G 48Lx18Wx24H.

How much movement do I require?

For placement I am going to assume that I have one on either end of the tank pushing the water up towards the front of the glass.

I have significant rock work along the back with several caves. I want to eliminate as much dead space as possible. As this is a school learning environment, the children assisted in the the rock setup. They insisted in adding a bridges (I will post pics in the build forum). The expected future of this tank will be a mixed reef with predominately soft corals.

I like the Jebao ow-25 I picked up. Powerful and I don’t even hear it. Also a big fan of koralia. Have used those forever and have never been disappointed. You don’t need anything fancy. Some of the cheap amazon sunsuns are likely good enough

I have the same size aquarium mixed reef aswell. I have 3 Jebao sw-8 (flow rate up to 8000 l/h) on my aquarium. Jabeo has a sw-15 which is more powerful(up to 13000 l/h). 2 of the sw15 would be best since I feel I could use another sw-8 on my aquarium. I might just get a sw-15 and keep a sw-8 as back up. I had lots of Koralia's in the past and I will never go back to them. I've had stray voltage a few times and they break down to fast. The Jebao's have been working great and their very quite.

I really really like my Gyre, ill never use wave makers again after experiencing one of these first hand. The Glamorca line is well priced and quality kit.

I have also had stray voltage issues with Hydors. There will be children working with the tank, don't need them to get shocked when cleaning or testing the tank.

I have read the Gyre reviews, all positive of course (there must be a google tool that removes all negative reviews). Problem being my recent experiences with Maxspect is not great, the listed GPH vs actual is something to be desired. I also have a significant rock wall. I don't think one pump will cut it. I am then looking at $500 for the Gyre with 2 units vs $250 for the Coralbox or Jeabos.
