Clown Being A Jerk

I have 2 clowns and recently they have been picking on my elegance coral. Is there anything that I can do to prevent this? Not too much space to move the coral either... picture is the spacing from the anenome to the coral

Can you observe the elegance at night? They will frequently release pretty long sweeper tentacles at night and it could be reaching over to the anemone and bothering it/the clowns, which might make them a little grumpy with it.

I don't think they are trying to host it. And maybe I have my identification wrong. They are picking at the little green coral in the bottom right, it's just not very happy right now cause the clowns are picking on it.

It looks more like a duncan to me:

Duncans are less known for it, but can still let out sweepers at night.

Is the Duncan coral a new addition? My clowns picked on my Duncan for a bit but stopped after a couple of days. The Duncan being mounted like that should be easy to move a bit farther away from the anemone that the clowns are in as well.

Thanks for the proper ID. Do they like to be on rocks or sand? Mine seems to be better on sand. I have had it for about a month and this is the first time the clowns have bothered them. It also closes up at night.

My female hosted my duncan for about 6 months they are very hardy

My clowns seem to check out anything new to see if it's appropriate for them. And they do jump between several anemones at the moment but they also seem to have their favorite that they always go back to.

yea as with some women it's hard to tell the difference with clowns between affection and aggression
