clowns laid eggs

My clowns in one of the 15 gallon tanks had laid some eggs. So I went to check on the eggs yesterday and found that they had hatched. But the female clown was missing. She was lying on the ground behind the tank, all dried up.Bummer.
Apparently she doesn't like mother hood.

Sorry about your clown.
What kind was she? I have a female True Perc in my sump that I bought cause
I thought it was my female that jumped but it was the male!
Still have my female looking for a male.
I have egg creat to go along the back now no more carpet surfing!!!
