I have a breeding pair of clowns in my frag tank. I was thinking of moving them into my dp tank.
There is already two clowns in the dp tank, and 5 anemones.
What do you think will happen if i move the paired clowns in with the other two.

There will be a WW3 or nothing at all.

How bonded of pairs are they? In all honesty you would probably be fine as long as they take to different area of tank and have something to host.

I wouldn't do it, if you do take the 2 in the DT out and put in the mating pair. It works when there all small juveniles like Duke had originally started out with, 2 pairs and one being a breeding pair won't end up well at all. You could potentially stop the breeding pair from breedingl. If they aren't comfortable they won't breed and having another set of clowns in the same tank will definitely stop them from breeding IMHO.  Also the breeding female will probably attack the other clowns because she's in the state of protecting her fry.

I have 2 pairs of clowns in my display tank, one pair being the tomato clowns, aggressive little bastards that they are, the other pair are saddlebacks, no troubles whatsoever - 1 pair resides at each end of the tank. I think you'd be fine moving them in

I believe this would be classified as a Wicked Clown from the ICP family. A little unpredictable if left in a small glass box with several of the same breed. If they become unmanageable,  feed a few 3 litres of Faygo should calm them down.

im guess is and its only a calculated guess.....you will interrupt there breeding pattern (normally every 11 days).  maybe for  a good period of time. they like a certain area and they surely don't feel  threatened. hosting clowns are territorial. some breeds cant stand another pair of clowns in the same tank. if it makes you happy id do it, whats the worst that can happen. im sure they will resume breeding.
