amyone have one yet?...i ordered the 150 today from marine depot ..looking to see if anyone has one so i kno what to do to setup

Do you mean the maxspect gyre? If so I have one. It's nice. I replaced my wave box and mp40's with it.

check out page 4 of my build thread, have two videos posted of the gyre, have 1 on my 300 gal reef and it is more than capable of sustaining flow.

I have a 150 g. I can't put it horizontally. How would it be vertical? I can't find any vids on that arrangement. I'd love to get one and sell my mp40s

I have not seen a vertical placement or how it works yet either. I guess I could switch mine over and see how it works. Kinda lazy.

I have been looking for videos as well and nothing. I have read a lot of people doing it, just no one putting videos. I would put one horizontally right under my over flow, would be almost invisible in my tank, but way to expensive. Maybe we will start seeing them used soon

Carlos' Blog on the CoralVue YouTube channel had one of these he scored one before they were release. He puts it vertical in his video, but does not talk about it for long. Maybe try messaging him there, he has done a few other videos on them as well. He may be interested in making a video of vertical placement as it is not around and there would be a ton of hits.
