DC Pump won't start

I bought a Jeabo DC 3000, went out and got a few PVC fittings to attach it to my exiting 3/4 pipe got it all hooked up and now it won't start, controller lights are on.

maybe you picked up something on the intake,did you check the impeller?

I checked that, there's nothing, looks like I have to take it out and look at it again.

Is it internal? They have a RR dry sensor iirc, maybe it needs a prime? Is the impeller spinning?

I took it out, unscrewed it from the fitting and there was a little piece of paper in it, started it up and it works fine now of course my Loc Line came off but that's ok . So its working Whew I feel better, thanks again

Is it working better today? Happy with it?

Yes I'm happy with it, It's working better. I ended up putting the single line on the return and it's running at top speed and is only a bit more powerful than the Mag 3 but a whole lot less quiet and the pipe is fixed to the pump so no tie downs Now to get that Reef Keeper Hooked up O Boy!!!
