have any of you tried this before? It's not cheap, for sure and I'm burning enough money right now. If it works I might try it. Or maybe a shrimp or 2 in the sump
I think it works, but don't think its necessary. If you are in a hurry (which you might be), go for an accelerator like Dr. Tim's.
In your case you are already cycling live rock, so there will already be bacteria present and growing.
Personally, I have had success with Seachem Stability and other brands- but it wasn't really necessary.
How well I remember the attacks and the attacks on myself for reviewing the product! I still think it has merit and I always cycle a new tank without fish or dead shrimp. I use Seachem's Stability on any new tank since I don't want to add any bacteria from an existing tank in case anything in it could attack my seahorses.Ah yes. The snake oil I still use it today 24 hour cycle guaranteed
