Stuff works amazingly. I've used suggested amount and had tanks cycle within a day or two.

In your case you are already cycling live rock, so there will already be bacteria present and growing.

Some precycled rock...a handful of substrate from a good system = millions of active bacteria...population will double evey 3 hrs....

How well I remember the attacks and the attacks on myself for reviewing the product! I still think it has merit and I always cycle a new tank without fish or dead shrimp. I use Seachem's Stability on any new tank since I don't want to add any bacteria from an existing tank in case anything in it could attack my seahorses.

I've never tried Dr Tim's because I didn't mind waiting the time while Stability cycled. But I would think that with the live rock you are already cooking Mike you should be fine in a couple of days after you set up your new tank. Good luck with it.
