Hey all, I got 2 eb8 that got damage. One have one outlet working and the other have two outlets working. My question for you is, is there an easy way to fix this? Thank

I think with water damage the most likely part to fail would probably be the triacs. Which ports did you lose? 4/8 use a relay for more current rating, other 6 ports use the triacs. Taking apart the EB8 isnt that hard.

It is really hard to tell without opening it up, but there is a lot of circuts in there that could have fried with water damage. I doubt it was the triacs as only 6 are triac switches and 2 are relays and with most not working, that would include the relay switches. I would have to guess it is time to replace.

Yes this makes sense, i misread, I thought he only had a couple outlets not working not the opposite.

The damage could be quite minor, some corrosion on a couple circuits in the printed circuit, which could be easily fixed.
