Thats confusing. I have 200 micron felt and mesh. 200 micron is 200 micron. Only thing to note (at least on some mesh i got) is that the stitching looks to fray a little and when i pull the sock out, some caught junk squirts out the hole so will have to re sew them. I have mostly 200 micron socks and now and then will swap in 100 just for a little extra polish.

Were they Vertex 100, 200 or 300 Micron socks? I ask as per my post above. Most vertex socks I have come across are 100 micron. BRS socks are 200 micron. So that would make sense given the description you give.
