Frag/qt tank help

I have an extra 55 gal tank that is already baffled as a sump..

However  where I want to put a frag setup on my basement I can't have a sump and tank combo.

Anyone ever make a 55gal into a frag tank,  qt all contained in 1.
Like an in tank sump for the Skimmer..
I'm not sure if I'm making sense.

Or am I better to sell the 55gal sump and buy a frag setup?
Have lots of lights and equipment here,  trying to avoid further purchases..

Yes... Yes...  Can you show me a straight on pic of this..  And an explanation of the setup..  I think this is exactly what I'm looking for.

It's a three compartment set up.  So 2 baffles.  Water is pumped from the right side using an eheim pump to the left side where I have filled a compartment with extra live rock I had.  That compartment overflows into the middle compartment where I have the frag rack and stuff. That then overflows into the right side and then pumped around again.

The skimmer is a hob that I just use internally. It's a reef octo bh something or other.

Nice and simple and all contained in one tank.

The left baffle is 12.5 in.  The right is 11.5in.  The only reason for that is I only had a 24 inch piece of lexan.  Plus because I do not use full 3 baffle bubble traps, I don't want a lot of difference in the water level to minimize bubbles noise salt splash etc.

that is a sweet system. What I had done years ago was have a 55 with baffles and have the sump and display all in one but the Frag Tank is just as good. a 75 is the ideal tank size but any tank that's long would do.
