I am going to add a small frag tank. There are 2 different ones i was thinking about one is a deep blue 30 gallon and the other is a innovative marine fusion lagoon 25. I am going mad trying to diside if to get the deep blue and plumb it to my main tank or just get a the fusion not connected to my tank. Hard choice any help would be greatly appreciated

Get the deep blue for sure. I’m sure you will save a good amount. If you are using it for frags, plumbing to main system is fine. If you will do QT separate it.

I had a frag tank connected, but once flatworms that passed through the dip and made their way into the display, it immediately became disconnected. I use an IM20 now, separated, and much prefer the peace of mind. If I had room, I’d do another connected tank and use the IM20 as a QT.
