G12 Hqi Bulbs

anyone running 150w g12 socket mh? just wondering what your preference for bulb is i dont care so much how it looks as its over my fragtank but dont have much experience with anything other than t5ho and led just looking to promote good colouration and decent growth any info at all would be helpful

When I ran mh's. I always went with 14k or 16k bulbs. Had great growth and coloring

Lower kelvin 6500-10,000k you will see more growth

Higher kelvin 14,000-20,000k you will see more colour.

This is from personal experience with bulbs in general.

Not sure who makes g12 bulbs except aquatic life.

Some other brands to look to see if they carry g12 would be: Radion, phoniex, Hamilton tech

yep pretty sure im stuck with aquaticlife 14k.... someone else told me to look into phoenix as well but got a few months before i need to worry

Just installed...very nice! Lse lighting amazon. Com. Very well packaged. Seems like a quality bulb and I got them half price. Listed on bulb as coral blue. Mostly white with blue hues. I will shop there again!
