that's most interesting.

I suspect they could save a lot of money by retrofitting a .22LR pistol though.
.22 is so poorly crimped, no way it would stay watertight. Commercial 9mm would have a solid seal on bullet and primer.

Even my CCI stuff has loose bullets sometimes in the brass. Just a totally different platform.
Best stuff would be surplus ammo. Designed to last for decades and lots of it has water seals.

I actually like lionfish and don't like glocks so this is a no go for me :)
Is it the long springy trigger pull like a kids sucker dart gun?

I like lionfish too but in this case they are becoming a serious issue although what's really needed is a commercial interest that will fish the Atlantic population back down to zero...

The glock just doesn't do it for me. I respect what it is: a very utilitarian service tool. I like something with more character... plus I'm a 1911 guy. :)
Not a fan of the glock either... my toy is a walther ppx 9mm

I was watching something on TV a while ago... the lion fish has been brought into areas that is wipping out vast schools of fish.

I'm very fond of my jericho in 9mm, my P226 and definitely my 92fs. The 1911 is sort of the standard I have in my head since my grandfather let me play with one as a kid whenever I was at his place (old war bringback). the only plastic gun I really like is the CX4 storm carbine, it takes my 92fs mags and is a tack driver.
