It seem there has been a recall of the Hanna Alkalinity reagent h1755-26. It seems the lots are no good. Here is the url to see if your is good or bad.

I have instock. Anyone involved in the recall, I have some not affected, and will gladly "loan" them to people for the one that gets sent to them.

This allows you to eliminate waiting before you can do your next test/tests.

Even store I go to has not had theirs replaced yet either.
Hopefully soon.

Ya this has be going on for a few months now. I think there is a delay because they are bringing out a new unit that reads in dKH.

Mine showed up yesterday. Old reagent showed my alk at 4.93, new stuff showed it at 6.83.

I have lost all faith in the Hanna Checkers, my Phosphorous Checker was giving numbers 110 and 90 and high 80's and I was using GFO like crazy and then I found my Salifert PO4 test kit took a reading 0 ppm re checked on Hanna 112, we are talking like .3 and above, I even picked up a new Salifert PO4 kit and got the same reading 0 ppm may explain why the Corals looked like crap. Sorry but I am done with Hanna.

Mine turned up today.
No reference to try them on as wasn't enough left in old bottle to do a test. And I just picked up the reader used.
Be good to hear if new batch defective too.
Will test and get local store to validate. Has a high end testing machine. Will be a good reference.
