Heater Used In Hospital Tank

I have a finnex 300 watt I used in the hospital tank for about a month. I used only malachite green and very diluted formalin 35. If this was cleaned up would it be safe to preheat my new salt water mix or is it forever to be used in the hospital tank? I don't know if malachite is the same as copper dosing....which I know can't ever touch a reef sps invert lps system.

I would wash it good and soak it in water treated with prime which should take care of any heavy metals.

Just Rinse it really well.

The malachite green won't soak in materials, other than the dye staining it. As for formalin. That dissipates after 24 hours.

Rinse well. Dry it over night and you'll be fine.
