Hob Skimmer Recommendations

Just snapped the intake off my skimmer...... didn't have much time for a good cleaning,, rushed and snap... I really don't have the time to repair,, thinking maybe time for a new one,,

so what's the best HOB out there? it's only for a 50g, Reef, no sump, :*(

I use thee eshop psk100 hob skimmer on my 40 gallon I love it it also has the biggest collection cup been running the skimmer for 3 years now with no issues

I am a fan of the Reef Octopus line of skimmers.

I had the deltec 600,, I loved it,, and a lot quieter then my last skimmer,, which made for a happier wife. How quiet are the Reef Octopus pumps/air intakes?

I tried an Aqua C remora skimmer when I started. It worked well occasionally. Finally it just turned into a big water collector so I replaced it with a Reef Octopus model. Best move ever. I would recommend it to anyone. I have a 90 gal. mixed reef and have it hung on the 15 gal. sump.

Any other suggestions? I have a tunze 9004 on my 40 gal. and it seems ok but darn it im adding more and more coral.

+1 Reef Octopus. I have 2 and they work flawlessly.
