My biocube is usually around 80 degrees Fahrenheit due to lighting(no heater). There are two 12 volt fans, one is sucking air into lighting unit, and the other is blowing hot air out. Also when I purchased the tank, because the lighting was upgraded to 4 36W bulbs, he cut another section out for the tank to breath in more cool air.

Lately due to the warmer weather, tank has been creeping up to around 82,83 Fahrenheit.

Fans are usually kept at 4/5 speed due to being noisy at 5/5 speed, but I feel the need to run them full boar to keep temp down now....

What is ideal temp?
What is safe temp range?...every website varies it seems

I keep my tank at 79 degrees. It's a tough answer because it is a loaded question. The reason for this is that corals, fish, etc. are all collected from various areas of the world and all come from water of varying temperature. Some like it colder, some like it warmer. I tend to sit in the middle at 79 degrees. I wouldn't want to drop much lower than 77 degrees and rise above 83 degrees personally... Sudden water temp changes would have much more of an impact on stress than a creeping temp throughout the day though.

On a tank that size might be able to get away with just pointing a house fan at the tank, might not do anything drastic but should be enough to take the edge off I would think. Also probably not the most energy efficient or professional looking solution but its nothing permanent so you can set it up and take it down at your leisure.
Worth a shot IMO I know it worked well on my 65.
If you have no heater in your tank I'd make sure to turn it off when the light are off.

Keeping the lid cracked a quarter inch or so might help too but expect higher evap rate.

My tank is in my basement, don't have any overheating issues but the heater works harder especially in the winter.

LED lighting dropped my tank ~2 deg on average.  I used to have to use a little chiller in summer to keep it under 83.  At 84 corals would start to close up. I also have a fan pointed at the tank and another pointed at the sump, they kick in if the tank hits 82.
