Bought a NIB hydor ATO but the female plug where the pump is supposed to plug into is 2 prong and all the pumps I've looked at are 3??

Who needs a ground wire anyways lol. I am with @unibob, maxijet or similar pumps are typically 2 prong. Anything that requires 3 prongs are too powerful to be used as an ATO.

What is the smallest maxi jet? I have a 400 and I think that is way too much flow for what I need.
Hydor suggests a 50W max pump and slow flow.
Do you know if an aqualifter pump is 2 prong?

Yes aqualifter is 2 prong no ground
