Killer Anemone?

So yesterday I bought 2 clown gobys and this am I my anemone looked I'll with a white thing by its foot. I touched it with my pinchers and it came away. So then I took it out. It sure looks like a dead clown goby to me. Did it just not survive the new move or would the anemone have killed it?

I have always had bta and they have never killed a fish, I would think it just didn't survive the move.. contact the store (?) for a refund...sorry for your loss...

I would think that if the anemone got a grip on the fish you wouldn't be finding any pieces of it. Perhaps it just didn't survive the transition to your tank or maybe it was just sick to begin with. Unfortunately it happens sometimes.

I think it's more likely the fish died and kind of foated on over to within the nem's grasp =D
