Killing Bryopsis In A Dt.

So i have some bryopsis starting in my tank, as soon as i think i have cyano beat bryopsis and hair algae start. Ive heard of people raising there mag levels to 1500 to kill off bryopsis with Kents TechM or something like that. Now, does this method only work if its kents product or will any mag supplement work to kill off bryopsis?

Yeah ive read a couple threads where people are saying its the impurities in Kents product that are elevated at 1500 is what kills it off.

Hydrogen Peroxide is what I am testing at the moment to see if it can fight off nuisance hair algae. 1 ml per 10 gallons daily for 8-9 days is what I have heard.

I tape a picture of Aaron to the tank and all the hair algae dies from looking at his face.

I used epson salts to raise to 1800 for my old tank. 100 points a day then held it there for a week or so and slowly brought it back down. No problems.

Its growing on rocks, glass, and around some frag plugs and ok dead coral tissue.
