Leather Coral

My new leather is worrying me. It opens up during the day and seems bright but it sometimes falls over. Even touching the sand. Is this normal? Any help

Yep,

I have a big toad stool leather. All the polyps would stay retracted when I first got it and shrink and shrivel up. If you touch it then it will retract. When the lights go out it retracts. But after several months it's out all day with full extensions and loves strong flow and bright lights.

may just be getting use to new water parameters? i have a finger coral thats the size of a football...they will grow fast if happy

Not falling. More leaning. The "trunk" kind of varies from short and stout to long thin and weak. Opened up bigger and brighter then ever before today. So i think it's ok

I have an umbrella that does weird stuff too. Sometimes it doesn't open up for days then it's perfect for a few months. Been doing this for over a year every so often. Not too concerned as its greener than ever and growing...
