Good luck to you man. Definitly will have to stop by next time im in the windor area.

If your having issues with cycling the tanks, or keeping coral growing I recomend buying one of santamaria's famous diy turf scrubber kits that we all already have the parts for?  ???

Maybe I will have to make my way down there to. Not sure who will be closer now, you or Sealife. Decisions decisions. LoL. Anyone have a spare coin for me to flip?

as a 2 pt doser i have currently switched to kalk,I'm still not sold on the end results,my salifert tests are in need of replacing,so BRS Mag,Cal,and Alk would be an interest if it were priced accordingly

Re: Can't resist

I think your Krazy! :D

Lots of players in this town, most of them just playing.

What part of Windsor are you in?

Are you going to have regular hours, or by appointment only?

Will you be looking for coral frags/colonies for trade or credit?

Will you carry Seachem products/ or have them available/?

All the best to you and James! :)

Re: Can't resist

Eventually yes we will be asking Rick to add us to the stores but we are aiming for January 1st to officially open. Still in the building process for fish tanks and cycling. Might do a coral order before Xmas but not a lot of people spend money on themselves around this time of year... I'd like to have both fish and coral in stock for the new year.

had my fingers crossed hoping you wouldnt get dinged but....

1. most cities have a by-law where you can not have a commercial or retail storefront within your home unless you meet minimum code (ie. dedicated bathrooms, openings big enough for wheel chairs, etc.) You can avoid this little technicality by going to an online base business and do deliveries or meetups. No pickups can be made at the store for it then falls under the retail space by laws. Your home may also need to be zoned for business and you must have the correct insurance so a internet business is the way to go.

2. pet stores of any kind may possibly require inspection by a provincial or federal organization - i know this is the case in the case in some US states but it may apply here. This is done to ensure the health and minimum requirements are met to keep the animals in your care healthy.
