Turn off the lights and shine a white light on it. Is there still colour? The fact it's on the glass and not a coral is usually a good sign.

Most Nudibranch's have very narrow diets. The majority are carnivores but some eat algae. The old rule of thumb was they look like what they eat. So most of the algae eaters are green or dark red. We commonly see the Zoa munchers and Monti eaters.

When was the last time you introduced something new to the tank?
May need to dip or at least keep an eye on everything for a while.
