Just seeing what everyone's preferences are.
Feel free to explain why if you would like.

LPS because of the movement!!!!  Just brings more to life in the tank :)

+1 Gietz. I'm an LPS freak myself.  The movement is calming.

There are only a handful of nice coloured moving LPS and Softies compared to TON of nice non-moving LPS and SPS and softies.

A few different types of hammers, frogspawn, torch, elegance and gonipora are all the nice moving LPS I can think of and they only come in a few different colour combinations each.

I dont see why you have to choose.  Get something nice of everything. :)

For sure Darryl.  Agree with you 100%.  Cant beat the colors and variety of SPS.  I was simply curious if people had a preference and what it was.

Well for colour and brightness....I think zoa's and LPS can beat SPS, there are some really nice LPS/Zoa.  But I think SPS overall has them beat in variety and growth forms, also they seem to be the easiest to captive propagate.

I love the mixed reef look. SPS are beautiful. Awesome colours and shapes.  By far my favourite. I just love the different shapes and colours of them. There are also some amazing zoas and polyps out there. Some nice LPS as well except, as Darryl mentioned, there are only so many nice moving LPS with limited colour combinations. I do have 1 softie though and I love it... My clowns love it even more though! It is a nice green Umbrella Leather. It will be moving into my new tank for sure!
