This is my first saltwater tank. I've had freshwater for as long as I can remember. I bought a 90 gallon complete system with fish and all. The live rock was covered in aiptasia so I didn't use it. I bought new rock and sand. It uses a closed loop for extra flow.
Equipment
90 gallon 36x24x24 front pane starphire
Sump 24x18x16
Mag 9 return pump
2x waveline 6000 for closed loop
RLSS R6i skimmer with waveline 3000 pump
BRS carbon reactor
TLF phosphate reactor
Jäger 150 watt heater
Tek light 36 inch 6x 39 watt bulbs -
3x blue +, 1x purple, 1x 15k and 1x duo
RO unit for now until new DI resin
Instant Ocean Reef Crystal salt
Handheld TDS and Ph meters

Fish
Pair of clowns
Coral beauty
Purple tang
Cuc
scarlet hermit
5x blue leg hermit
Strawberry conch
10x black banded trochus
10x cerith

That's all I can remember for now. Will update and add pics later.

Yes sorry I do have an RO/DI but the DI resin needs to be replaced. I took out the DI cartridge and put a filter in it's place for now. Does anyone have advice on a good place to get DI resin?

Looks nice.  How long have you had it up?

Sorry if you know this already, but:

Changing the rock and sand probably would have caused your tank to cycle again.
Make sure you keep an eye on your ammonia and nitrate and don't add anything else until you are sure that the cycle is complete.  You may have to do a lot of water changes to keep your fish and coral happy until then. I suggest you buy one of those ammonia badges that sticks on the side of your tank so you can keep track of it too.

Thanks for all the replies. Yes my tank just finished cycling. I was doing lots of water changes. I started it at the beginning of January. I also used about 15 lbs of live rock and Bio Digest, it seemed to help.

Last night my glass was covered in tiny moving spots. It looked like the glass had ick. From all the reading I've done I think they're some type of pod. They're tiny little specks on the glass, too small to identify. Should I be concerned? Should I get something to eat them? My purple tang was picking them off the glass.

I have an 18" cube tank that had freshwater shrimp. I sold all the shrimp yesterday and I'll be changing it to saltwater as well. I'd like to know if 4 18 watt T5ho will be enough light for this tank?
