In light of jaw dropper selling with a price tag of over $1k, I am just wondering how much local people have paid for a single piece of coral before... out of sheer curiousity :).  Anonymous poll so nobody has to feel like they're being outed.

Most expensive piece in my tank was my Rainbow Chalice. I paid $400 for it.

Pricey but hey it'd likely be $2000+ in the states.....

My first 3" rainbow chalice was early in the craze. I paid $600 for a 3" one. I cut it in half and split it with Dwayne.  It didn't even have a rim but Jays assured it would grow in.  It wasn’t in the best health but not bad. Anyway I ended up killing it. Dwayne had his for quite some time but he never got a rim on it.  After I knew that one i bought my second 3"er for $400. I still have that one.

And if that wasn't crazy enough I paid $700 for a large frag of Jason fox JOL. It wasn't much bigger than 1.5"x1.5". That was the height of my addiction right there.

Most I think I've ever spent is $75 to $80 on a couple of different frags and a couple of mari-cultured pieces.

$ 850 for a 2"x2" piece of common gsp and $450 for 1 small head of brown frogspawn.  Both from Corbets pets Windsor.
